"A Minuteman Minute" The Commercial Truck body style was one of the numerous Model A car body styles. In fact, the "mysterious new Ford" seen on the streets of Detroit in the fall of 1927 was indeed the new Model A Tudor Sedan. The most popular of all Model A body styles, the Standard Tudor was available in all 4 Model A years, with well over 1.25 million of them being built.

I purchased my 1930 150B Station Wagon from a man in Plymouth, Mass. who had owned the vehicle for fifteen (15) years. He had taken the car from original to about 65% restored but had finally given up on the project due to lack of time and patience (I think). I am currently refinishing all of the wood body parts with six (6) new coats on high gloss marine spar varnish.

The body is a reproduction Pleasantville Manufacturing body that is faithful to the original materials and dimensions. The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt by Knight Engineering in Gloucester, Mass.

The Model A Station Wagon first produced by Ford in 1928 was very popular here in New England with hotels and inns across the region. Many fine examples exist and, in fact, our club has approximately nine wagons owned by club members. December 2005
