On what turned
out to be, weatherwise, a perfect late spring evening, excitement
was in the air! The Minuteman Model A Ford Club of Massacusetts
held it's monthly meeting at the Carlton Willard Residence Village
in Bedford, MA.

Nearly
20 of our member's Model A's were there to give the residents a
"tour back in time", by providing them with a ride around
a portion of the village's 80+ acres! They lined up with enthusiastic
smiles as the Model A's pulled up the circular driveway. One by
one (or sometimes two by two), they were escorted to a waiting Model
A car and boy, they couldn't wait to get in!

A
local Barbershop Quartet was on hand to serenade the residents and
club members while everyone enjoyed their ice cream sundaes. Truly,
it was
a great night and many thanks to everyone who made this evening
possible. A special thanks goes to George Day for arranging the
meeting.

As
Nan Linden stated, "We don't know who had more fun, the residents
or our club members, but one thing is certain...no amount of money
could buy the joy that everyone seemed to be sharing." Well
said!
